Although I really wanted the Nikon D80 I feel a made a very good choice with the D60. After spending weeks searching for my first digital camera within my budget range (I have a few 35mm cameras), I decided to purchase the Deluxe Accessory Kit from Ace Photo Digital. The product was delivered on time, as advertised and packed very well. I am not a complete amateur but fairly new to non point and shoot digital cameras, this camera is excellent and the price is exceptional (actually it’s $30 cheaper now). The only draw back is you need to be careful with purchasing lenses as some lenses that work with the higher end Nikons will not fit this camera, but for an amateur or entry level digital camera this is a Exceptional deal! and a Great camera for the price!

The Nikon CF-DC1 Semi-Soft Case is a great protective accessory for my Nikon D40 camera. It is not a camera bag and shouldn’t be expected to take the place of a camera/gadget bag. It is a protective case and it does the job very well. I keep it on my camera all the time when not actually taking pictures. I often carry my camera on my shoulder for easy access when sightseeing and this case protects it from bumps and bruises. It protected my camera from damage when I dropped it and it came in very handy when we were out on a boat and the sea spray was getting us. I will agree with other posters that the case is a bit awkward but there is a little snap tab on one side that you can fasten around your Nikon strap that keeps the case handy. I just slide the case up the strap out of the way. My daughter just received a Nikon D40 from her husband for her birthday yesterday. I recommended this accessory as a must-have. She is buying it today. By the way ladies, if you are like me and sometimes carry your camera in your purse or tote bag this case protects it from the other items you carry.

Not what I expected. Case has to be removed before the camera can be used. The case is just about large enough to fit the body and an 18mm-55mm lens-larger lenses won’t fit. There are no external or internal pockets for extra SD cards or batteries. Not even well padded. Big price for a useless product.

Customer Review: Big Zoom – Little price!
The Phoenix is a good “long-lens” for the budding photographer. It offers the ability to get that great shot while staying away from the action or intruding upon it. With no f-stop selector, the Phoenix lacks in the high-end functionality route, but with a little practice, this lens will give you what you need to shoot sports, wildlife, etc… from a distance. You definitely need to use a tri-pod or mono-pod while shooting with this lens or you will have horrible results.

I was pleased with the capabilities of this lense for the cost versus the costs of a comprable zooming lense from other makers. It was a good buy for the money and even though it takes a little finess to make it work the way I want it was better than paying thousands of dollars.

Customer Review: The Perfect Portrait Lens
I have used Nikkor lenses for almost 40 years. I have 6 in my bag right now. This is the best lens I have ever used. It is better than the 105 f2.5, and that should say it all. Fast focus, perfect color, contrast, and razor sharp. The 85 mm focal length is perfect for portraits even with the 1.5 factor on a D300 [feels almost like you are using the 105 f2.5!]. Combine the 1.8 f-stop with the low noise of today’s Nikons and you are set to capture great images in almost any low light situation. The real point of the lens is, of course, the incredible DOF control you have to make your subject pop. I always use aperture priority with this lens to make sure I am controling the f stop, the results are amazing, even wide open. This prime lens really needs to be in your camera bag if you are a serious Nikon photographer. The fit and finish are pure Nikon. One more important thought, this lens will work perfectly on the full sensor D3 and D700 as it is not a DX lens. You will not be sorry you bought this lens, esp at the current price.

This is a great lens for the price you are paying. The 85mm f/1.4 is about 3 times the price (I don’t own it so I cannot compare apart from the specifications), and gives you about 2/3 more stops of light. This lens has 9 aperture blades, which gives a very nice bokeh. On a crop factor camera (except the D3 at the time of this review), this lens is about 127.5mm, which becomes a tele portrait lens. This is one lens you would not regret buying!

Customer Review: Precision design bracket kit review
The bracket works great, the cleaning kit is serious kit, and the velcro straps that hold it down are up to the job. The cable fits the camera hotshoe perfectly, but my SB-400 had to be wedged in with a key-chain bonus card to ensure good contact.
Not exactly the impression one wants to make on the job, as it were.
