Customer Review: Totally Amazing, Totally Worth the Money
So much has been written about this lens, I don’t know how much I can add. All I can say is, if you’re thinking about getting it, don’t hesitate. I shoot it on a Nikon D300 body – I was previously using the Nikkor 18-200mm VRII to shoot swim and water polo meets outside and in daylight, but needed something for indoor venues, low light, and fast action. Man, it was hard to put down all that money, but after shooting it the first time, any thought of “should I really have done this?” went out the window. I love this lens. Exceeded all my expectations.

Tried these on my 40D LCD and must say was disappointed. Cutting to the specs for the LCD size left a bit of an overlap and when placing my camera in my back pack the overlap picked up lint from the lining. The resulting friction of taking the camera in and out ultimately peeled the screen protector from the LCD.
Tried again only to experience similar issue though I did reduce the size somewhat. I have come to the conclusion that this protector simply doesn’t adhere well enough for the rigors my camera encounters with being removed and returned to the backpack.

what i like about this grip is that you can use it WITHOUT any batteries inside the grip’s chamber as long as you have batteries inside your d300/d700 body….the grip is fully functional. because of this, i always have the grip attached and only put the batteries in the grip for extra juice to shoot 8fps.
Customer Review: Essential Accessory for Extended Battery Capacity and Extra Speed
Like most photo accessories, the MB-D10 is essential IF you really need the features it offers. I’m not going to argue the justification for it’s exorbitant price – let’s face it, it’s absurdly expensive. However, if you need expanded battery capacity and/or the extra speed it is capable of providing (using AA or the optional EN-EL4a battery), there really is no viable alternative.
