Camera has the versatility to allow the simplest of high quality point-and-shoot for the beginner, but with the capability to control more of the picture taking process, if desired. Before I say more, I’ll tell you I haven’t downloaded my pics yet onto the PC, will add to review after.
I’m coming from an HP Photosmart R817, this Nikon is a very close relation to it! Before I had 5x optical zoom, and 5.1 mp – very happy so far. When taking pics with Nikon pics look grainy on-screen, once you press shutter button, face detection waits a bit to make sure subjects open eyes, then takes pic. After a sec. the pic is clear on screen. Flash seems plenty strong for about 5-10 ft.
